XP & Levels
How completing Progress Cards and achievements earns XP and levels.
XP is how Skillboards tracks the learning you've actually done. It's mostly earned through the Progress Tracker and shows up on your profile.
Earning XP
You earn XP by completing Progress Cards - moving one into the Learned column awards its XP value - and by unlocking achievements, which each carry their own XP reward.
Total XP and per-board XP
Your profile shows your total XP across every board you're part of, and each board you've joined tracks your XP earned on that board separately, so you can see where your effort has actually gone.
Levels
Your level is calculated from your total XP:
level = floor(total XP ÷ 1000) + 1
So it takes 1,000 XP to reach Level 2, 2,000 for Level 3, and so on.
Achievements
Achievements appear on your profile once earned, along with the XP they awarded. Different achievements unlock for different kinds of activity across the platform.
